ECE 210 - Planning Learning Environments for Young Children
Environmental awareness is significant to facilitators in early childhood programs. By recognizing that the early childhood classroom environment is an interplay between the materials, schedule, and people, students can create a productive setting for learning. In this course, students receive an overall introduction to methods and approaches utilized in planning early childhood classroom settings. Emphasis is placed on creating a productive, developmentally appropriate learning environment to include the physical space, time schedule, materials, and interpersonal environment.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or higher in ECE 104 , and Placement in ENG 111
