The Case Management Certificate is a job-ready pathway for entry-level roles, including Case Manager Assistant, Care/Service Coordinator, Client Navigator, or Intake Specialist across community agencies, schools, healthcare, and nonprofits. Students practice employer-valued skills: gathering client information, assessing needs, planning services, navigating benefits and resources, maintaining accurate records, upholding confidentiality and reporting rules, coordinating with agencies, and de-escalating crises. Graduates leave with practical tools, professional ethics, and the confidence to support individuals, families, and communities from first contact through follow-up.

Program Learning Outcomes Students who complete this certificate will be able to: - Analyze the historical evolution, philosophical underpinnings, and contemporary landscape of human services systems and social problems within the United States.
- Describe the underlying principles and possible causation of social problems and analyze strategies for change.
- Apply an understanding of human behavior to examine one’s own conduct as well as the behavior of others.
- Identify core principles in the human service field, including the values and ethics of the profession.
- Demonstrate entry-level case management skills, including intake, documentation, confidentiality, mandated reporting awareness, referral/resource navigation, and interagency collaboration.
- Use digital (and AI-enabled) tools responsible for information gathering, documentation, scheduling, and service coordination-adhering to privacy, security, and ethical standards.
