The General Studies program provides students the opportunity to plan, analyze, and execute their individual career and education goals. This degree allows for the flexibility of studying in various disciplines, including Humanities, Natural and Social Sciences, Education, and Business. Graduates can transfer to a 4-year degree program and/or advance in a career.

General Education Requirements:
Total Credits: 60
*Program Electives: courses taken in student’s area of interest. **Choose any three areas of study for electives: CIS, ECE, HUM, HUS, MGT, MAT, NTS, SOC Mathematics: Any 100-level or higher-level MAT course Program Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of all General Studies degree program requirements, graduates will be able to: - Identify prospective occupational and/or academic goals and pathways.
- Demonstrate civic knowledge, intercultural understanding, and self-awareness locally and globally.
- Demonstrate effective academic research skills, including critical thinking, and the evaluation, integration, and citation of sources.
- Apply a variety of reasoning strategies (including logic, problem-solving skills, and computational skills) to analyze and interpret information to make decisions.
- Interpret and express ideas creatively and practice innovative thinking through diverse means.
- Communicate digitally, orally, and in writing with varied audiences in a range of academic, professional, and other settings, to articulate ideas persuasively or informatively.
