The Human Services Certificate focuses on workforce development, equipping students with the generalist skills and practical knowledge required to excel in the human services profession in their home communities and the wider United States. Whether new to the field or holding prior human services/social work degrees from other countries, this program offers a robust foundation in understanding human services systems, social problems, and culturally responsive practices in the United States.

Upon graduation, students are well-prepared for entry-level positions in a wide range of human services agencies, such as YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, community centers, vocational programs, schools, residential programs, and day treatment programs.
