EDU 101 - Introduction to Teaching and Learning
This introductory course provides students with a foundational overview of the field of education and the teaching profession. Topics include the history and philosophy of education, the roles and responsibilities of educators, and key components such as curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom environments. Students will explore current issues in education and begin to reflect on their own beliefs and goals as future educators. This course is ideal for those considering education as a major or career path.
Prerequisite(s): Placement in ENG 101 or higher for English section
