HUS 231 - Behavioral Health Internship

This supervised internship provides students with hands-on experience in behavioral health, preparing them for roles working directly with clients, families, and groups. Through structured field-based learning, students develop essential skills to support the emotional and behavioral needs of clients and other stakeholders in professional settings. Students also participate in seminars designed to enhance their experience, offering opportunities for group and self reflection activities, career goal clarification, competency development, and workplace insights. Prior to registration, students must consult with the instructor or Human Services Program Chair to plan and formalize their internship placement.
