SOC 205 - Advocating for Justice


This course will challenge students to practice applying laws to facts, sharpen their persuasive advocacy skills and evaluate the efficacy of our school disciplinary processes. The primary focus will be placed on comparing and contrasting traditional punitive practices with restorative justice practices. Students will critically analyze our current systems of conflict resolution and consider enhancing these processes to better serve the needs of our society.
