SOC 121 - Social Problems This course offers an analysis of several fundamental problem areas in American social life, such as unemployment, poverty, welfare, racial and sexual discrimination, crime, illegal immigration, the environmental and health care crises, and unequal educational opportunities. It seeks to offer an understanding of the social causes of these problems as well as to provide possible solutions.
Prerequisite(s): Placement in ENG 101 or higher for English section
