HUM 150 - Poetry and Empowerment

Contemporary poetry and spoken word help us explore racial justice, the climate crisis, gender equity, youth empowerment, and other issues involving human rights and dignity. In this course, students will develop analytical and creative responses to poetry that imagine new forms of political hope.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of ENG097; placement in ENG 101  or higher
