HUS 103 - Introduction to Human Services
This course surveys the wide range of human services available for children, adolescents, family, and the aged, ranging from information and referral through legal services and advocacy. History, philosophy, and the changing goals of support systems will be considered. The importance of the values and attitudes of clients, service providers, and society will be discussed.
Prerequisite(s): Placement in ENG 101 or higher
