ENG 202 - Critical Thinking and Writing
Students will learn the basics of critical thinking as a branch of learning. These will include - but not be limited to - Elements of Thought, The Problems of Egocentric Thinking, Universal Intellectual Standards, and tools for Problem-Solving and Research Analysis. These fundamentals will be put to use in day-to-day situations involving parenting, consumerism, and relationships, to name a few. Students will be required to share their work in written form as well as debates and presentations.
Prerequisite(s): Placement in ENG 101 or higher
